

Assistant RF Engineer

Job Summary
As an Assistant RF Engineer, you will support the design, development, testing, and integration of radio frequency (RF) systems under the guidance of engineers. You will gain hands-on experience in RF system design, measurement, troubleshooting, and documentation while contributing to real-world wireless communication projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and project objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Assist in the design and simulation of RF systems such as antennas, filters, amplifiers, and transceivers.Support RF circuit layout and PCB design tasks.Participate in prototype assembly and hardware bring-up activities.
Testing and Analysis:
Conduct RF lab measurements using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and oscilloscopes.Support field testing activities and data collection.Analyze test results and prepare performance reports.Troubleshoot RF-related issues with guidance from engineers.Engineering
Planning & Procurement Support:
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for RF subsystems.Perform RF link budget calculations to validate system performance.Review component datasheets and compare technical specifications.Support procurement activities by verifying technical compliance of RF components.
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare technical documentation including design notes, specifications, and test reports.Maintain proper documentation control and version tracking.Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor/Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Experience:
Skillsets:
Basic understanding of RF fundamentals, antenna theory, modulation, and RF propagation.Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment.Familiarity with RF simulation tools (CST, GNU radio) is an advantage.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.Good teamwork and communication skills.
