(Singapore) Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to join our team at our newly established branch in Singapore. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, and systems meet internal and customer quality standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product reliability, driving continuous improvement, and supporting new product introduction (NPI) activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to build a culture of quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and inspection standards for products and processes.

● Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure conformance with engineering drawings and specifications.

● Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for product or process nonconformities.

● Perform statistical analysis of quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

● Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated from product development through production.

● Support supplier quality activities, including incoming material verification and vendor audits when required.

● Participate in internal audits and support compliance with ISO 9001 and other quality management system standards.

● Prepare and maintain quality documentation such as inspection reports, control plans, FMEAs, and process capability studies.

● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reliability, and efficiency in production.

Experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

● 1–3 years of relevant experience in quality assurance, process engineering, or manufacturing (fresh graduates with strong technical fundamentals are welcome).

Skillsets:

● Familiarity with test and measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, power analyzers, VNA, spectrum analyzer).

● Familiar with IPC level 2 and 3.

● Familiar with bizSAFE.

● Basic understanding of PCB assembly, electronic circuits, and system integration.

● Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards and quality management systems.

● Experience with measurement instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, oscilloscopes, or multimeters).

● Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

● Effective communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.

Optional Skillsets:

● Knowledge of basic quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

● Experience with supplier quality management, SPC, or DOE.

● Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or equivalent is a plus).

● Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or process validation activities.

● Knowledge of reliability testing and environmental stress screening is advantageous.
