
Assistant RF Project Engineer
JOB OVERVIEW
As an Assistant RF Project Engineer, you will support the engineering team in planning, coordinating, testing, and completing project activities. You will work with engineers, suppliers, customers, and other teams to ensure projects are completed according to the required schedule and technical requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Engineering & Testing Support:
Assist engineers with system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
Support preparation of test setups and equipment.
Collect and organize test data and results.
Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations.
Laboratory Monitoring:
Monitor the condition of the engineering laboratory, equipment usage and calibration status.
Ensure test equipment and tools are available and ready for use.
Report any equipment or laboratory issues to the relevant person.
Ensure laboratory activities follow basic safety requirements.
Procurement & Supplier Support:
Assist in preparing and maintaining the project BOM.
Follow up with suppliers on component delivery and technical information.
Review supplier documents and technical specifications.
Assist engineers in checking component requirements and alternatives.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain project documents, test reports, and meeting minutes.
Maintain proper document and revision records.
Assist in preparing project presentations and technical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor/Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
SKILLSETS
Basic understanding of RF fundamentals, engineering and project activities.
Good organizational and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of technical documents, BOM, and testing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently.
